UNIT: NATURAL DISASTER
Objective: SWBAT describe
natural disaster with the use of reported speech in the oral form.

ü WARM-UP:
Earthquake activity:
In this activity, the teacher brings a big dice,
with different some words in each of the sides like (table, window, and
earthquake) the students have to form a house with three students. Two are
going to be windows and the other one table. The teacher throws the dice, and
if she gets window, it means that windows have to move and look for a new house,
if she gets table, it means that only tables have to move and look for a new
house, but if she gets earthquake, it means that everybody has to move and form
a new house. The person who doesn’t find a house, he or she will get a penalty.

ü CHART ACTIVITY
After the reading activity, the students have
to form two groups. Then, they will fill in a chart with the information from
the book. At the end, they have to check the chart with the teacher and
classmates.
ü NEW VOCABULARY
In the reading activity, the students were
asked to underline the new vocabulary, so now, the students have to look for
their meaning, and they have to form sentences with the vocabulary. At the end,
they have to share the sentences with the whole class.
